What is a female condom?

This erotic accessory which is often marketed as a sex toy is considered to be both a birth control method as it blocks the sperm and a way of protecting against STDs as it completely lines a woman's vagina.

The female condom is provided with two rings. One ring is thought out to lie inside the opening. Another one is aimed to lie outside the vagina after this female sex toy has been inserted.

The female condom is already lubricated, so there is no need to recourse to extra lubrication. Moreover, the accessory comes complete with an extra bottle of nonspermicidal lubricant.

According to some research it was concluded that if women use female condoms correctly (following the instruction) and consistently (using them every time they engage in intercourse), it is 95% effective.

Briefly saying five women out of ten will become pregnant in a year. In case when women do not use female condoms reliably, their effectiveness decreases to 79%. That means that 21 women out of 100 will get pregnant in a year.
